The SPSx-1µ provides the newest sensor technology combining a high dynamic range with very fine resolution and reproducibility. These features allow gravimetric detection of water uptake or loss at a resolution of down to 0.5 ppm – at up to 23 samples simultaneously.
The possibility to measure thin layers of sample materials with very good sample kinetics
together with the largest available numer of samples determined simultaneously qualify this system to a real High Throughput Analyzer.
The SPSx-1u performs a high sample throughput and allows comparative studies between different batches of a material.
High sensitivity and reproducibility also allow using this system at very small sample amounts.
The System alternatively holds
up to 23 samples each with a plain sample surface of 4 cm2 and 3 ml sample volume or
up to 11 samples each with a plain sample surface of 20 cm2 and 12 ml sample volume.
at only a few seconds changeover time.
The gravimetric reproducibility of typical ± 3 microgramms RMS allows the determination of samples ranging from less than 3 milligrams up to 20 grams with full resolution.
The relative humidity can be set precisely between 0 and 98% (r.H.). The temperature range is from +10°C to +60°C.
