Determination of the water vapor sorption isotherm
The simpliest and most accurate way to determine the water vapor sorption isotherm is by measuring the mass changes of the sample at various humidity conditions.

Limitations
The determination of sorption/desorption processes require a great number of individual measurements. Moreover, due to slow kinetics a long time is often required to reach the equilibrium state. In order to get a high sample through put (rotine analysis, quality control), it is thus necessary to monitor several samples simultaneously.

Complementary investigations
Particularly for scientific questions it is can also be important to withdraw samples during the measuring cycle for the application of additional analytical methods such as spectroscopy, X-ray-powder diffraction or microscopy.

To comply with these requirements we developed a new concept of humidity-stability-testing. The result is a new kind of moisture sorption analyzers.
