Objectives:
The MSAS will communicate basic and advanced knowledge as well as practical know-how about moisture sorption analysis.
Audience:
All users that apply moisture sorption as an analytical tool for the evaluation of materials in either research or industry will benefit from the seminar.
The seminar will
convey the basic principles and mechanisms of moisture interactions
- give an insight into technical features of gravimetric moisture sorption analyzers
- discuss calibration procedures and the validation of instruments
- demonstrate how to successfully set up and conduct experiments
- show how to process and evaluate moisture sorption data
- introduce complementary methods for moisture sorption analysis and how to implement them in analytical strategies
- discuss research/industrial applications for pharmaceuticals, foods, textiles, building materials etc.
- provide the opportunity to exchange knowledge with experts and other users
